Dog diagnosed with corneal edema? - corneal edema symptoms
My dog was recently diagnosed with corneal edema as fair prognosis. The vet wants us to determine our dog as soon as possible to a specialist to determine whether the eye enucleation can be saved or, if possible take. I do not want to remove the eye, of course, and as a weekend and we can not find answers to the possibility that the eye removed until Monday, I wondered if someone with experience with this I was a turnaround from highest to to take the worst possible scenarios. My dog is a Shih Tzu 8 months and apparently scratched his eye or the other for a dog that was edema. We knew that the swelling until your eye is clouded over 5 days after the injury. Take medication for the eye, starting today. What would happen if the eye is recommended for retirement, but decided against it? Any information is welcome sooooo. Thank you!
